Sabrina Pittroff is Chief Scientific Officer at GreendaAI, where she is
building the company's scientific capability from the ground up. She holds a
PhD in environmental microbiology and spent ten years screening microbial
strains for commercial biocontrol products. At Greenda she leads the pest
prediction work, using degree-day and thermal integral models to forecast when
citrus pests reach actionable stages. She also directs the company's field
learning strategy and translates it into features that help agronomists build
better IPM protocols. What drew her to the work was the chance to provide
farmers and agronomists with actionable learnings from their own field data,
arming them with technologies that inspire high-impact changes that protect
farmers, produce, and the environment.
